Today and some...............
What a beautiful day, spent most of my time making the bug as fuel efficient as I can. My gas mileage as of late has dipped into the 15's so I figured I better do something. Most of the reason for the drop, I figure is the oil soaked clutch (I have to fix that leak) and the traffic to and from work that has turned from bad to worse, so I sit and idle for at least 30 minutes coming home, the rest of the time I barely hit 10MPH. Yeah it's ugly, took me 2 hours on Halloween night to get home. So today I did what I thought would help, changed the oil, put my electronic ignition back in and waxed her up so she would glide through the air : ) Okay so that's a strech but we'll see. My ported Manifolds which match my ported heads are in the mail, can't wait to install those, should help her burn more efficient and boost my power some, of course with the clutch soaked with oil, that means I will just sit and spin. I posted pics from a few adventures in the last two weeks plus my waxed beauty. Enjoy....
