Bugorama 55

Spent the day with Tony and his family at Bugorama 55, Kristen couldn't make it this Spring. It was the busiest I have seen it in years, glad it's coming back, must be the economy. Found a rear fender same color at the swap meet in better shape than my current fender, 30 bucks plus it came with a tail light assembly. I will have to clean it up and install in a couple of weeks. Nice day but not enough racing due to a bad accident and lots of oil downs on the track. We left before they were done, in fact I am not sure if they will finish today. Bug ran hotter coming home, not sure what is going on, so stopped in Tracy to cool her down before making the climb over the Altamont. I bough an external oil cooler with fan today, but need a few more accesories before I can install. Need to hurry before we get the hot weather. As I do every year, I try to find a luggage rack like mine, no luck just shows how rare mine is, oh look closely and you can see it's color has changed. One of the pictures shows Tony playing with his transaxle, he is planning on racing his 67 bug later this year as soon as he gets his motor build finished. I get to pit for him, hey maybe he will let me sit in it : )
Today my bug is still faster than his, at least until he gets a motor in it.
Okay what's coming up.......Kristen turns 18 on May 31st and she has senior ball, graduation and she just atteneded her boyfriends Barry's senior ball, must post pictures, okay just did.
Erin is also home for the summer, so I should have lots to post and talk about.
